Reacting To Sound

For this experiment you have to collect some of your friends and ask one to be the leader. He has to give directions to the group.

Others have to follow his instructions such as if the leader says 'swing the arms' all others have to swing their arms. Leader must be fast to order and others have to react instantly.

If anyone fails to do what is said, he is disqualified. This experiment enables us to watch the time taken between listening, registering it with the brain and then reacting to it.

Muscles not meant for strenuous Work

Some muscles are not meant for continuous work.

Some, like our heart can work continuously.

Clench your fist and then relax it. Continue this procedure for some time.

You will find that after some time your hand gets tired.
