This site is a free, public library providing access to the large collection of information regarding English. We are very happy to continue to research and write the site's content and the A Word A Day newsletter, but would appreciate some help in paying the bills. This is a large and busy website and, although our own time is provided for free, the running costs are considerable. We have included adverts on the site's content pages, but these offset the expenses only to a small extent.
