Transformation of Sentences :


  1. On account of his poor health he left the job. (Simple)

    As he had poor health he left the job. (Complex)

    He had poor health and so he left the job. (compound)



  2. He is too tired to walk. (simple)

    He is so tired that he cannot walk. (complex)

    He is very tired and so he cannot walk. (compound)



  3. After doing the sums he went to bed. (simple)

    After he had done the sums he went to bed. (complex)

    He had done the sums and then he went to bed. (compound)



  4. On seeing the tiger the hunter took his gun. (simple)

    As soon as he saw the tiger the hunter took his gun. (complex)

    He saw the tiger and at once the hunter took his gun. (Compound)



  5. In spite of his hard work he could not pass. (simple)

    Though he worked hard he could not pass. (Complex)

    He worked hard but he could not pass. (compound)
