What is the difference between Avoid and Ovoid? :


Avoid :

( 1 ) Keep oneself away from something / someone

I think she is avoiding me.

Avoid driving in the middle of the road.


( 2 ) Prevent – stop something happening

Try to avoid accident.

I just avoided running over a little child.



Ovoid : (adjective)

( 1 ) Egg-shaped

There is an ovoid table in our office.


Ovoid : (noun)

( 1 ) An egg-shapped object

The table should be ovoid.
