A report can be in the form of a paragraph, essay or letter. It can also be in the form of notes or sub-titles. The form of a report depends on its nature or subject-matter, the space available for its printing and the person or persons for whom it is meant.
Model - 1 :
During the Kargil conflict the Arts Club of your colony had organised various cultural activities to collect funds for the victim’s families. As the Secretary of the club, write a report for your News Letter about these activities and how you utilised the funds collected.

AUGUST.16 - A charity show was organised by the Arts Club of Anna Nagar colony in aid of the families of Kargil victims. Mr. Benjamin, the Town Mayor, presided over the show. As a part of the show, various cultural activities were performed which were liked by one and all. Each member of the club put in his best to make the show a success. Tickets for the show were sold in advance. A good amount of money was collected by way of voluntary donations also. In all, the club was able to collect Rs.2 lacs. The entire collection was sent by a Demand Draft to the Prime Minister’s Kargil Relief fund.
