What is the difference between Bridal and Bridle? :


Bridal :

( 1 ) Of a bride or wedding

The bridal party has already arrived.

She was still wearing her bridal costume.



Bridle : (noun)

( 1 ) Part of a horse’s harness that goes on its head including the metal bit for the mouth, the straps and the reins

Without a bridle it is not possible to control a horse.



Bridle : (verb)

( 1 ) Put a bridle on

Keep feelings under control

Restrain

You should bridle your temper.


( 2 ) Show anger, resentment because of something

She bridled with anger at your offensive remarks.
