( 1 ) Bag-like part of an animal or plant
The honeybee carries honey in a honey sac.
Sack : (verb)
( 1 ) Dismiss someone from a job
Fire
They were totally sacked from their new jobs for their untoward behavior.
( 2 ) Steal or destroy property
It is wrong to sack.
Sack : (noun)
( 1 ) Dismissal from a job
He got the sack for petty thieving.
(When SACK is used in this sense, the definite article THE should precede it.)
( 2 ) Large bag of strong material used for storing and carrying
The sack split and the rice poured out.
