Lives of great men are like beacon lights. They guide us and inspire us. Many people who had lost all hope and courage have been uplifted by some incidents from the lives of great men. Hence, it is very useful to read biographies and autobiographies of great persons.
Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime.
And, departing, leave behind us
Footsteps on the sands of time.
Footsteps, that, perhaps another,
Sailing over life’s solemn main,
A forlorn and ship-wrecked brother,
