A Poster

Previous Page

A Poster :

Your first goal with any poster is to get your readers' attention. Make sure yours is eye-catching and easy to read. Often posters on colored paper stand out more. Give all the information your readers need, but no more. Be sure your poster answers the basic questions: Who? What? When? Where? Why?

Some Suggestions :

• Put the most important information in the largest print and position it close to the top of the poster.

• Use a font that conveys a mood and tone appropriate to the subject.

• Separate information on the poster into chunks that are easily read.

• Leave plenty of white space.
