Cogent Order

Cogent Order means the content was the same, but the order of sentences was different. That means to arrange the given sentences in the right order.


Example : 1


Rewrite the following statements in meaningful cogent order.


  1. When he woke up, he saw a number of monkeys on the tree wearing his caps.


  2. He saw a banyan tree. He lay down in the cool shade of the tree putting the bag of caps by his side.


  3. The monkeys threw down the caps and the cap seller picked them up and walked away.


  4. A cap seller was very tired as he had walked a long distance in the hot sun.


  5. The cap seller took his cap off his head and threw it up towards the monkeys.


  6. Soon he fell asleep.


Answers :


  1. A cap seller was very tired as he had walked a long distance in the hot sun.
