Check for The Most Common Errors

Previous Page

Check for the most common errors. Read over your writing, watching for major grammar errors. Many instructors suggest that their students keep a list of editing problems that recur frequently in their writing. For example, forgetting to insert commas after long introductory phrases or to see that items in a list are in parallel form. If you keep such a list, perhaps in a file on your hard disk, you can refer to it quickly when you’re editing.
