Dutiable : adjective : dutiable goods or dutiable items = goods on which a customs duty has to be paid


Duty : noun : tax which has to be paid

  • To take the duty off alcohol


  • To put a duty on cigarettes

  • Ad Valorem Duty = duty calculated on the sales value of the goods


    Customs Duty = tax on goods imported into a country


    Import Duty = tax on goods imported into a country
