Subject + applauded + object + saying + that + … (other changes according to rules).


Examples :

  1. He said, “Bravo! You have done well”.

    He applauded him saying that he had done well.





  2. The spectators said, “Bravo! Well played, Sachin”.

    The spectators applauded Sachin saying that he had played well.





  3. He said, “Bravo! You are a bold man”.

    He applauded me saying that I was a very bold man.





  4. They said, “Bravo! A very fine score”.

    They shouted with applause that it was a very fine score.
