To follow knowledge like a sinking star
Beyond the utmost bound of human thought.
(Tennyson : Ulysses)
Knowledge is always in the past. Knowledge is the past.
(J. Krishnamurti : 1895-1986)
Generally all look and hear equally. But due to condition of their minds, some get very little knowledge. Some others obtain a little more. But those who have control over their minds get full knowledge and enjoy in it. Like - some go into a tank up to their feet. Others go up to their armpit. While others go into the deep water, swim and enjoy very much.
To be conscious that you are ignorant is a great step to knowledge.
(Benjamin Disraeli : 1804-1881 : Sybil)
Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves or we know where we can find information upon it.
I find that I can have no enjoyment in the world but continual drinking of knowledge.
When you know a thing, to hold that you know it. And when you do not know a thing, to allow that you do not know it. This is knowledge.
