Me Either or Me Neiither :



Inside a longer sentence, “me either” can be perfectly legitimate:


“Whole-wheat pie crust doesn’t appeal to me either.”


But by itself, meaning “neither do I,” in reply to previous negative statement, it has to be “me neither”:


“I don’t like whole-wheat pie crust.” “Me neither.”
