Reply to the Letter of Motivation

Reply to the Letter of Motivation written to a friend who is depressed.

12 Depot Lane,
Singapore.

26th May 2006.

Dear Mrs. Adele,

Your letter of hope and cheer has kindled a spark in my life. How strangely foolish seem all my sorrows! As you noted in your letter, do take an appointment for me with Doctor Jacob and inform me of the exact date and time.

You will be glad to know that I have begun visiting the Spastic Center in our town. Here, I help out voluntarily with the handicapped children. By giving them of my time unreservedly and love, I am learning to forget my sorrows.

Thanks a lot to you for your letter of cheer and love.

Yours cordially,

Signature of Mrs. Mayan
