Here is the large collection of Stephen King Short Stories. Born in Portland – Maine – in 1947, Stephen King completed his BA at the University of Maine at Orono. He was the second son of Donald and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury King. His parents were separated when he was a small child. He and his older brother David were brought by his mother. Stephen attended the English grammar school in Durham. After he joined the college, he started to write for the Campus Magazine. He was an active member in the students’ council when he was in the college. He met his future wife Tabitha in the college library where both would come quite often. He and Tabitha Spruce got married in January of 1971. Stephen made his first professional short story sale ("The Glass Floor") to Startling Mystery Stories in 1967. After that he used to write stories quite frequently.
