Anniversary Letter

This is a sample anniversary-letter. Mr. & Mrs. Ezra are celebrating their tenth anniversary. Their family friend Mr. Isaac is writing a letter congratulating them on the occassion.

641 Jalap Sentul,
Kuala Lumpur.

18th Jan. 2001.

Dear Ezra,

Congratulation to you and your wife for having reached your tenth marriage anniversary without any breakages. You know what I mean. While marriage can be a real partnership, there are many rocks on the way - misunderstanding especially. These can only be overcome by love and you have successfully managed it till now with mutual love and affection.

We pray and hope you two will live a happy married life for many years to come. My wife Catherine has begun shouting from the kitchen and I must wind up before some kitchen missile comes hurtling towards me.

We too have gone through a tough period for few days. It is only our underlying love and affection which saved our married life. Thanks God. We have passed the test.

Take care of your children and spend few hours everyday with them. That will develop an emotional bond among you all.

With love.

Yours sincerely,

Signature of Isaac

ISAAC
