A) Pick out and classify the adverbs in the following sentences.


1) That’s what she voices so wistfully.
2) Send him in. He is a little worried.
3) It is a bit tough. You are too risky.
4) None of us really wants to be like you.
5) You know very well how I feel about you.
6) Thank You anyway, I am very grateful.
7) I must be in bed early.
8) How delightful! This is quite splendid.
9) Come back again, I’ll be anxiously waiting for you.
10) So soon? You are quite in a hurry.
11) He travelled abroad and will not come back.
12) He speaks well for you.
13) Never hisitate to call on us.
14) Now or never. Don’t put me off.
15) He is not cool enough, Let me speak to him first.

B) Fill in the space with a suitable adverb.
