Reading this list is a great fun, while expanding your vocabulary at the same time. It is meant to help to improve the vocabulary of the visitors, the students (who are preparing for various examinations), the authors, journalists, literati and all other people who are interested in improving their language skills.

That's right! When you bad-mouth someone or something, you say bad things about the person or thing.

For example:

• My neighbor bad-mouths politicians all the time.

That is something a lot of people enjoy doing.

The expression bad-mouth can also be used as a noun. A bad-mouth is someone who speaks ill of others.

• Why do you say that we should not bad-mouth our Men in Blue?
