The first syllable en is pronounced like the word on. The e in the second and third syllable is pronounced like the a in china, about, and amount. The eur in the final syllable neur sounds like the or in words like worm, worst and world. The stress is on the final syllable. The word is pronounced entrepreneur.
Dictionaries define an entrepreneur as someone who starts a business in order to make a profit. Who in his right mind would start something in order to lose money?
