Letter of Advice

This is a sample Letter of Advice on Vegetarianism:

Mr. Feld is a non-vegetarian. His friend Mr. Bernard is a vegetarian. Mr. Bernard is writing a letter to Mr. Feld advising Mr. Feld to follow the vegetarian food system.

2 Phyla Thai Road,
Bangkok.

23rd April 2004.

Dear Feld,

You know it very well 15th May is World Peace Day. Different people in different lands around the world are celebrating the day in their unique style. In western countries special mass is being held in churches to invoke God’s blessings for peace on earth. In the USA, the Whites and the Blacks are congregating to perform musicals together.

In the Asia it is celebrated as Vegetarian Day. Lord Mahavira advocated non-violence to all living beings. You must have seen Jain Monks wearing a piece of cloth around the mouth to prevent microbes from entering into their mouth.

I strictly advice you as your brother to give up taking flesh. You can begin by abstaining from meat, fish, eggs and all non-vegetarian food on 15th May. It has been proved by medicinal studies that animal flesh contains toxins which enter our systems and cause diseases. They upset the metabolism. They contain a high level of cholesterol and harm the heart. People in the west are switching over to vegetarianism to check blood pressure, tension and for longevity in life.

Animal food leads to aggressive tendencies. It is a misconception to think that flesh makes us muscular and strong. The elephant is the strongest animals and eats only leaves. Carnivorous animals are very aggressive and live much less. Finally we must learn to protect and love the species nearest to us in evolution.

Yours sincerely,

Signature of Bernard

BERNARD
