GRE : Quantitative Comparison Problem

This is the Quantitative Comparison Problem-5.Understand the basic mathematical principles behind this problem and other problems.

Example-5

The total surface area of a Cube equal 150.

Column A : The length of one edge of the cube

Column B : 4.5

Answer

The Cube has six faces. So, if the total surface area of the Cube is 150, the surface area of one side is equal to 25. So, the length of each edge is 5. 5 is less than 4.5.

So, A > B.

So, the answer is A.
