There are a number of Tamil Short Stories which have been bequeathed to us by our forefathers. WE treat these short stories as our treasure trove. Tamil is one of the Classical Languages and Tamil is spoken by more than 80 million people in Tamil Nadu – India. Tamil-speaking people are all over the world doing business and rendering services. We have to learn the language Tamil to relish the good literature therein. Only five languages have been declared as Classical Languages. Hebrew, Sanskrit, Greek, Tamil and Latin are those languages. Classical Language means a language which has its original literatures and top class literatures. Tamil is 2000-year old language. Still there are very good Magazines in Tamil.
